Accurate Miniatures B-25C/D Mitchell

This project choose was a coming together of a desire to build an AM Mitchell with finding the photo below of a significantly weathered 180 Squadron RAF Mitchell Mk.II.

The main event with this one was always going to be the painting and weathering so I didn’t want to spend too much time or effort on the interior. To expedite things, I assembled it completely before any paint.

And then painted with a combination of airbrush and old school detail painting with a small brush.

At this point I was able to close the fuselage and assemble the wings. A quick dry showed the wing to fuselage fit good enough that I could paint them as separate assemblies.

In the next instalment I begin the paint process.
