Shop Making History

Shop Making-History provides an opportunity to own a piece of the site. Available products are listed below, please take a look. A portion of sales from the Making-History Shop is donated to Veteran’s charities in gratitude for their sacrifices.

The Prints

Many of the articles on Making-History are available as a high quality print or download. The prints come in sizes up to A1 (594mm x 841mm). Each print includes a photo of the model shot and processed on professional-grade equipment with a summary of the article it accompanies.

The Models

All of the models featured on Making-History are available for purchase. Models can be shipped anywhere in the world and are packaged to minimise (but can never eliminate) the probability of damage in transit.

The Commissions

If the subject provides for an interesting article I will take on commission builds. To be very honest, it’s not my favourite thing to do, but will consider any request. The image to the left is an example: “Lt. John “Ray” Johnson’s “Fighting Cocks” P-38L-1 Sep 1944 – Mar 1945

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have on the products listed above. If there’s anything you don’t see but would like, let me know; the unusual and esoteric is always something worth pursuing!

Testimonials

One of the most satisfying parts of this work is the research on the models; below are a couple of pleasing comments on my results.

“Great article on the build and the historical account of VLR. I applaud you on unearthing the Uncle Dog system description; what a deep dig!”

Col. James Beckwith’s P-51D “Squirt”

“A phenomenal job painting the plane so close to its real one together with a great article about it. Well done!”

“Not Just Pretty Nose Art” the P-61’s of Iwo Jima
